Wrinkles
Wrinkles are creases, folds or ridges in the skin.
As you age your skin produces less proteins, collagen and elastin. This makes your skin thinner and less resistant to damage.

As you age your skin produces less proteins, collagen and elastin. This makes your skin thinner and less resistant to damage.
Pollution in surrounding environment, blue light, sun exposure, dehydration can also make your skin more likely to develop pronounced wrinkles.
Wrinkles are a natural part of getting older and there is no reason to dread getting them.
But if you would like to slow the signs of ageing on your skin, then at my beauty studio I have treatments which can help you with this concern.
Sagging Skin
Sagging skin occurs when internal or external factors affect the key molecules that help keep the skin elastic, firm, and hydrated.

Firm skin can stretch and snap back into place easily. When skin loses this ability, it starts to sag. Saggy skin can happen almost anywhere on the body, but he most common areas are:
- eyelids
- jowls
- chin
- throat
- upper arms
- stomach
There are several causes of saggy skin. They include: ageing, weight loss, pregnancy or illness. At Beauty by Joanna I have a treatment options to treat this sagging skin.

ACNE
Acne is a very common skin condition characterised by comedones (blackheads and whiteheads) and pus-filled spots (pustules).
It usually starts at puberty and varies in severity from a few spots on the face, neck, back and chest, which most adolescents will have at some time, to a more significant problem that may cause scarring and impact on self-confidence. For the majority it tends to resolve by the late teens or early twenties, but it can persist for longer in some people.
At my beauty studio I treat clients with mild to moderate acne.
Pigmentation
Pigmentation refers to the coloring of the skin. Skin pigmentation disorders cause changes to the color of your skin. Hyperpigmentation is a condition that causes your skin to darken. This can affect patches of your skin or your entire body.

Enlarged Pores
When your sebaceous glands produce excessive sebum that mixes with the dead skin cells in your pores, your pores can become blocked. The sebum cannot discharge freely from the pores, resulting in your pores becoming wider and more clearly visible.

This can also cause blackheads.
It may not be possible to get rid of large pores, but at my beauty studio I can help you to reduce their appearance.
Scarring
When a wound heals, it may eventually turn into a scar. Facial scars come in numerous forms and may be caused by injuries, acne, burns, or surgery. Since your face is constantly exposed to the environment, scars on this part of your body may have a harder time healing.

Ageing
Ageing
From around the age of 25 the first signs of aging start to become apparent on the surface of the skin. Fine lines appear first and wrinkles, a loss of volume and a loss of elasticity become noticeable over time.
Our skin ages for a variety of different reasons. Many of the causes of skin aging are entirely natural and cannot be altered. There are, however, several factors that can cause skin to age prematurely, and these can be influenced.
At Beauty by Joanna Bojarska I offer a wide range of treatments for ageing skin.
Sun Damage
Although most people love the warmth and light of the sun, too much sun exposure can significantly damage human skin. The sun’s heat dries out areas of unprotected skin and depletes the skin’s supply of natural lubricating oils. In addition, the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation can cause burning and long-term changes in the skin’s structure.

The most common sun damage to the skin are; dry skin, dark spots, Actinic keratosis (about 10% to 15% of actinic keratoses eventually change into squamous cell cancers of the skin), Long-term changes in the skin’s collagen (a structural protein)
That is why I cannot stress enough about the importance of using SPF on the daily basis, all year round.
At my beauty studio I also have a range of procedures which can treat Sun Damaged skin.
Sensitivity
Sensitive skin refers to a range of conditions, from genetic ailments, such as rosacea and eczema, to severe allergies. While many people can have a skin reaction at some point or another to a product or ingredient, those with persistent issues are classified as having sensitive skin.

Dryness, Eczema
Eczema is a condition that makes your skin turn red, scaly, and itchy. Your doctor might call it dermatitis. It can show up in several places on your body, and different types can cause different symptoms. If you have it on your face, it can cause red patches, small bumps, and flaking skin.

My clients with Eczema are usually very cautious with any treatments, but at Beauty by Joanna Bojarska, I treat this, the same as other, concern very seriously.
We usually start with the very simple treatments, slowly adding active ingredients so the skin has time to get used to them and respond in the right way.
